  • Awaiting to see the “concrete” materials and website examples

  • Working with diverse people
  • The developing retention plan we put together
  • Good flow – easy to understand materials and presentations
  • Recruitment plans, organization of training
  • Planning Time
  • Combination of information with follow up time to do group planning
  • Video and questions
  • Useful, concrete strategies
  • Emphasis on Gender Learning Styles
  • How the topics were logically presented (i.e. Recruitment, Retention, etc.)
  • The chance to get in group and express some of the very workable retention and recruitment strategies
  • List of strategy “cheat sheets” that cover most of the areas
  • Video and discussions in small group
  • Case studies
  • Exchange of information amongst different institution gave me new ideas as well as learning we are having the same problems
  • Developing retention plan
  • Distinguishing recruitment from retention
  • Retention portion of PowerPoint
  • The handouts, videos, experiences, networking with attendees

4. What do you feel would IMPROVE this workshop?
  • DVD’s
  • More vignettes to help show more situations to help give more problem solving tips
  • Some interactive break during slides
  • Info and resources shared
  • Too long sitting/listening this morning. Hard to concentrate that long. This was unfortunate because the info is excellent.
  • Mid morning section on retention was too long with no interactive activities
  • Please add case studies at the trainer’s part
  • Nothing comes to mind
  • More team work to share ideas and to network
  • Less individual work
  • Showing us the internet info - distracting
