2. What do you feel was BEST about this workshop?

  • The interaction and working in groups
  • Doing the case studies & getting everyone's input
  • Identifying with different strategies & problem solving exercises
  • Group exercises to put into practical application the ideas presented
  • The many wonderful ideas to do better what I am currently doing. : The visuals were great!
  • Being able to get into groups and brainstorm ideas and later presenting actual solutions to problems (case-studies)
  • Networking with others
  • Visuals, good discussion, nice setting
  • Everything-information was fabulous
  • Some of the ideas to integrate all learners in class into the curriculum as well as taking into account how to make the learning environment a save environment for all
  • The confirmation I got regarding recruitment strategies (I do have a clue); the suggestion to do EXPLORATION BEFORE ASSESSMENT
  • Strategies for recruitment, PowerPoint, group sessions
  • The recruitment strategies case study exercise
  • Interactive exercises-Good instructor, site, etc.
  • Good information combined with effective pacing
  • Working together in groups, sharing ideas

3. What do you feel would IMPROVE this workshop?

  • Bigger projection and bigger TV
  • Nothing I can think of
  • More video examples of dos & don'ts

  • I really enjoyed the session and I am glad that I came.
  • The PowerPoint presentation and the videos greatly enhanced the workshop. So did the team stuff. Keep up the great work, Donna
  • Great first day workshop in general
  • Keep up the good work. It's good to know that there are people who care about girls/women in general.
  • More interactive group work, and collaborative effort idea building.
  • This has really opened me up to the potential of the technology fields. A year ago, I had no idea that tech careers were so varied and exciting.
  • Really enjoyed it & learned too!!

  • The group dynamic!
  • The group activities (which I normally hate : )
  • Training content, video & binder, etc & interactive activities were relevant, helpful, well-organized & user friendly.
  • Many minds/ideas coming together
  • The case discussions & group work
  • Very informative
  • The case studies, discussions/presentations-lots of great ideas!
  • Donna as a role model!
  • Case studies, group presentation & information on retention
  • This workshop allowed us time to evaluate and come up with an action plan for our current situation
  • Multi-sensing approach to learning & delivering; loved the video, PPT presentation and the group dynamics

  • Individuals introducing themselves & name tags at the beginning of the event
  • Excellent job done!
  • Develop groups dealing with target population
