These real women scientists

the wonders of the world...just like them!
Each kit includes a DVD that shows women scientists as they are actively
engaged in their work, while combining personal insights with hands-on activities
for your students. The idea is for students to do science the way scientists do it,
which teaches them the scientific process through fun, hands-on activities!
WonderWise activities are designed for 4th through 6th grade learning levels,
although we believe that the career videos of scientists can excite girls (and
boys!) of any age.
WonderWise: Women in Science is an award-winning series that meets national
education standards as it engages your students in science through a DVD
featuring women scientists at work; related hands-on activities for students in
an accompanying activity guide; a CD-ROM with a profile of the scientist, and

Kits successfully. The kits are clear, concise, and comprehensive. Wonderwise

All the activities are self-contained, so they don't have to be done on consecutive

Wonderwise learning outcomes are based on national science education
standards identified by McRel (Mid-continent Research for Education and
Learning), and the Nebraska Educational Standards and the National Science
Education Standards developed under the direction of the National Research
Council.

Wonderwise doesn't have to be a group experience. CD-ROM resources allow
you to give your students individualized learning experiences. They are designed
to be used as additional resources for the kit activities, and as additional
learning experiences either for advanced students who may complete activities
