Where to Go in Emeryville and San Francisco

Emery Bay Public Market, 5959 Shellmound Street

Go out the back door of the 4 Points hotel, walk to your left across the parking lot, make a left out of the parking lot and walk to the corner 4-way lights. Cross over on the same side of the street. Keep walking past Borders Bookstore to the front entrance. Enjoy.
Movies: If you walk beyond the parking lot you'll have your choice of ten movies

Bay Street Emeryville, 2 block walk
Brand new mall with shopping ranging from Ann Taylor to Cingular Wireless. Restaurants include California Pizza Kitchen, Pasta Pomodoro, Zao Noodle Bar.
Go out the back door of the 4 Points hotel, walk to your right across the parking lot, make a rightout of the parking lot and walk to the corner 4-way lights. Cross over and follow the signs to Bay Street. 16 screen movie theatre.

Jack London Square in Oakland (Waterfront Dining)
Cab fare to Jack London Square (approx. $15 each way). No public transport route.
Many wonderful places to eat on the water. Try Jack's Bistro for moderate pasta and seafood and an ocean view or Il Pescatore for Italian. For upscale try Scott's Seafood or Kincaid's. And there's always Tony Roma's or El Torito. If you like Jazz check out Yoshi's which also has good sushi.

Driving: Take 880 (towards San Francisco) Alameda/San Jose exit, (third lane from left), follow along 880 to the Broadway/Alameda exit, ease right at bottom of ramp, take first right on Adeline, left on 3rd, go 12 blocks, take a right on Broadway. Follow into Jack London Square.

San Francisco

The Closest Bart Station is MacArthur (BART is the subway)
You'll need to take a bus to get there -- The Emery-Go-Round is free
Pick up is across the street in front of Trader Joe's
9:15a.m. - 9:15p.m. service every 30 minutes every day, to the Bart Station and back

If you miss the last bus from the BART cab fare back to the hotel is about $15
BART will cost you approximately $5.00 roundtrip into the City and it only takes about 10 minutes each way.

BART Subway Train - MacArthur Station - 555 40th Street
Take the Daly City or Colma Train (going towards San Francisco):
Get off at Embarcadero Station ($2.50 one way)
On Market Street, catch the F Market train ($1.00)
